NOTE: ANYONE OF THE AGE 18 YEARS AND OLDER, MUST FILL OUT THE ONLINE BACKGROUND CHECK FORM AND BRING A PRINTED COPY OF THAT FORM TO THE SEMINAR. APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNLESS THIS IS DONE. GO TO THIS LINK:

Registration: 8:00am-8:30 am

Schedule: 8:00 am-3:00 pm (est)

General Information:

• Level 1 & 2s will finish at the Jackson Optimist Ice Arena about 3:00 pm.
• Be ready to go on the ice. Bring your referee equipment. Must have a helmet!!!
• Suggest elbow pads and whistle, at minimum.
• Time will be allotted for lunch. Participants will have an opportunity to buy lunch at the rink or go out. Make sure to bring lunch money.

This is a classroom environment. Be prepared to take notes .

• There will be no money collected at this seminar. You will be charged an additional $10.00 when you register with USA Hockey to cover seminar expenses.
• To register as an USA hockey official, you must go online to www.usahockey.com. THIS IS NOT A REGISTRATION FOR ANY SEMINAR! It would be helpful to register before the Jackson seminar, and bring the materials (rule book, and a printout of the Open Book) from USA Hockey with you. Do not take the Open Book Test online until you attend the seminar.
• Any questions, please have the official “in-waiting” contact me via e-mail. I prefer to work directly with the official, rather than the parents, as they will be working with adult coaches on the ice, and need to start that process.
